This Red-tailed Hawk photograph was taken in Shenandoah National Park (11/06). He was a very cooperative subject remaining perched in a tree not far from the road. This image was captured using stacked converters (a 1.4x, 12mm extension tube, & 2x converter) on my 400mm lens. The photo turned out sharper than expected.
