This photograph of battling bucks was captured in Great Smoky National Park (10/07). After observing a buck on the edge of the field early in the morning stayed with him into the woods for some time. Eventually another buck appeared and they began to battle. What is not captured in this image is a third buck that appeared, with an even larger rack, that was observing these two fighting.
