Ken Conger > Early one morning in Shenandoah National Park watched this doe and fawn pair browsing in a field.  I worked my way slowly toward them.  They decided to bed down.  When I set my tripod down the fawn came out to take a look and I captured this photograph (6/06).

Ken Conger > This doe and fawn Whitetail Deer photograph was captured in Shenandoah National Park .  The pair had bedded down for the day.  Late afternoon the fawn decided to get up and I was lucky enough to be there to capture this image (6/05).

Ken Conger > The golden rule in wildlife photography is to have the sun at your back.  When this deer pair appeared in Shenandoah National Park, was not able to appropriately position myself.  The side lighting still made for a nice image (6/06).

Ken Conger > Found this female Whitetail Deer browsing in some milkweed in Shenandoah National Park.  She looked up briefly and I captured this photograph (10/05).

Ken Conger > After spending several days in Shenandoah National Park was hoping to take a photograph of either a nice male Whitetail Deer or some battling bucks during the rut.  Late one evening was very fortunate to capture these two young bucks going at it at, near a tree line (10/05).
